Arman Tashmetov, Director General of the National Scientific and Practical Center of Physical Culture of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held a final meeting with the heads and representatives of regional centers.
During the meeting, the results of the work for 2025 were summed up, as well as priorities and plans for the coming period were outlined. In particular, this year's finalists of the National School League were awarded prizes from sponsors for the first time. Memorandums of cooperation have been signed with 17 sports federations. Together with them, systematic work is underway to promote physical activity among children and youth, open school sports sections, as well as equip gyms with the necessary equipment — tatami mats, soccer balls and other equipment.
It was also noted that for the first time, physical education teachers taking paid advanced training courses received three certificates at once from the Center and two specialized sports federations confirming the assignment of the coaching category.
During the meeting, the participants raised issues of international cooperation, further development of advanced training courses, improvement of the school physical training complex, as well as equipping gyms in the regions. All proposals and initiatives were recorded for further study.
In conclusion, Arman Tashmetov called on his colleagues to work together in a coordinated manner, emphasizing the importance of a unified approach to the development of physical culture and sports in the education system.
